MERKABA The Merkaba is a powerful spiritual symbol and tool, often described as a “light vehicle” that can be used for balance, spiritual transformation and ascension. The word “Merkaba” comes from ancient Egyptian and Hebrew traditions, with “Mer” meaning light, “Ka” meaning spirit, and “Ba” meaning body. When combined, these elements represent the connection between the physical and spiritual realms. It encompasses all dualities, all opposites, the 2 becomes the 1. Divine union of two opposites. The Merkaba is often visualized as a three-dimensional Star of David, composed of two interlocking tetrahedrons. Unlike the two-dimensional Star of David, which consists of two overlapping triangles, the Merkaba is a 3D shape with one tetrahedron pointing upward and the other pointing downward. The upward-pointing tetrahedron is associated with fire and the masculine energy, while the downward-pointing one symbolizes water and feminine energy. The Merkaba is also linked to time codes and the Fibonacci sequence; when this sequence is plotted onto a 24-point circle, the numbers 1 and 8 form the Star of David, showing the harmonic nature of the Merkaba. Where as the Milky or cloudy version is feminine and is softer, and illuminates rather than projects. Its good to have both in one crystal, as well as one of each. Clear Quartz, as simple and boring as it may seem is my absolute favourite of all crystals, and is far from simple or boring. There are many variations of Clear Quartz which I call specialty quartz, and each special formation, or inclusion brings added and special qualities to the common quartz crystal.
