Fine Indian painted teak wood side or coffee table made from repurposed 19th century shutter doors. The timberis now well over 120 years old and Indian teak wood, it is in beautiful original condition, and the coffee table is ready to grace any lounge, kitchen or hallway. Tables like this from India are found in an extraordinary variety of styles, sizes, colours and shapes reflecting the many purposes and regions they came from. It is now very hard to find these timbers in such a good size and in original condition, that can be usefully used to create a piece of furniture that will last the test of time. This is also a unique one of piece with wood which was made by hand many years ago and has a lovely patina which really shows its age and history.
