The original ironwork—heavy-duty bolts, locks, and vertical lattice bars—remains intact and fully functional, reflecting their historic use as secure yet ventilated entrances. Known in Hindi as ‘Lakdi Aur Lohe Ka Darwaza’ (wood and iron door), these doors were traditionally positioned at the end of a drive, path, or in front of a solid door to allow air flow while maintaining security.
